Strawberry Banana Smoothie Pops

Simple 4 ingredient cool treat that is healthy and requires only a few minutes to put together. Basil seeds add an extra cool factor and some texture to these pops. You don't have to restrain yourself from having a second or third serving.

Equipment

  • Freezer and popsicle molds

Ingredients

  • 4 bananas ripe
  • 16 oz fresh strawberries
  • 2 cups fruit juice orange, pineapple, apple, blend
  • 2 tbsp basil seeds soaked for 30 mins

Instructions

  • Soak 2 tbsp basil or chia seeds for 30 mins.

Add to a blender

  • Peeled and chopped bananas
  • Washed, cored and chopped strawberries
  • 2 cups juice
  • Blend everything till smooth and frothy.
  • Add the soaked basil seeds.
  • Pour gently into popsicle molds.
  • Place in the freezer for 3-4 hours.
  • Remove from freezer just before serving.
  • Serve cold.
