London Fog Tea

London Fog Latte is the perfect drink to brew on those cold, damp and blah days when you need comfort or are thinking of nestling up with a book or Netflix under a blanket.

Equipment

  • French Coffee Press

Ingredients

  • 2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 Earl Grey teabags
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tsp sugar or sweetener of choice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon sugar to sprinkle on top

Instructions

To brew the tea

  • In a pan, bring to a slow boil:
    2 cups of water
    2 Earl Grey tea bags
    2 tsp vanilla essence
    2 tsp sugar or sweetener of your choice
    When the water comes to a boil, remove the tea bags and pour the tea into 2 cups, leaving enough room to add the milk froth.

To make the milk froth

  • Warm up 1/2 cup milk in the microwave and pour it in the French press.
    Start pumping the press and allow the milk to froth.

To serve

  • Spoon the milk froth on top of the tea .
    You might have to pump a few more times to make more more froth.
    Sprinkle the froth with cinnamon sugar and serve hot.
